If walls could talk - Wenn Wände sprechen könnten
Jugendliche gestalten Ausstellungen zum Alten Waisenhaus und zur Geißstraße 7
Im Rahmen des Projektes „If walls could talk" also „Wenn Wände sprechen könnten" werden die Stuttgarter historischen Orte Altes Waisenhaus und die Geißstraße 7 gemeinsam mit Jugendlichen aus Berufsschulen auf kreative Weise erschlossen.
Dabei geht es nicht darum, den Jugendlichen mittels einer Führung die Geschichten der historischen Gebäude näher zu bringen. Vielmehr sollen die Perspektiven junger Menschen auf die Stuttgarter Geschichte und Gegenwart sichtbar gemacht werden.
Im Rahmen von Storytelling-Workshops erarbeiten die Jugendlichen ihre eigenen Assoziationen und biographischen Bezüge zu den Gebäude.
Die Storytelling-Workshops finden im Zeitraum 13. bis 15. Juli statt und werden von Odile Neri-Kaiser von Ars Narrandi durchgeführt.
Die Workshopergebnisse werden im Herbst in einer Ausstellung in den beiden historischen Orten repräsentiert.
Weitere Kooperationspartner von "If walls could talk" sind: Welthaus Stuttgart, Stiftung Geißstraße, Lernort Geschichte, Esma Kizilaslan, sowie die beiden Initiatorinnen Dr. Banu Pekol und Dr. Annegret Warth. Jugendliche aus der Cotta Schule, der Alexander Fleming Schule und der Akademie für Kommunikation erstellen die Inhalte der Ausstellung.
Das Projekt „If walls could talk" wird im Rahmen des Aktionsfonds der Partnerschaft für Demokratie Stuttgart und damit auch durch das Bundesprogramm „Demokratie leben!" des BMFSFJ gefördert.
