Buchlesung mit Tete Loeper - Shut Up and Hide. Memoiren einer Überlebenden aus Ruanda
Tete Loeper ist eine ruandische Autorin und Bildungsreferentin mit Schwerpunkt auf interkultureller Kommunikation und nachhaltiger Entwicklungspolitik. Während des Völkermords an den Tutsi musste sie bereits als kleines Kind ihre Heimat verlassen und floh zunächst nach Burundi und später in den Kongo. Später setzte sie ihren Weg fort, studierte Journalismus und Kommunikation und arbeitete in verschiedenen Projekten zur Stärkung benachteiligter Mädchen.
In ihrem Buch „Shut Up and Hide! – Memoiren einer Überlebenden in Ruanda" schildert sie eindrücklich aus der Perspektive eines Kindes, wie Krieg und Flucht eine Kindheit abrupt beenden und das Leben nachhaltig prägen.
