Madagaskar im Fokus – globale Solidarität gemeinsam gestalten
Die missio-Regionalstelle Südwest in Kooperation mit dem Katholischem Bildungswerk Stuttgart und dem Welthaus Stuttgart e.V. läd herzlich ein ins Haus der Katholischen Kirche zu Vortrag, gemeinsamem Austausch und Diskussion. Bei diesen steht Madagaskar im Fokus. Im Süden Madagaskars kämpfen Menschen täglich um Wasser, um Bildung, um eine Zukunft während anderswo deren Rohstoffe wie Mica und Saphir im Überfluss verbraucht werden. Globale Solidarität heißt, diesen Widerspruch nicht hinzunehmen, sondern aktiv zu gestalten: Rohstoffe gerecht zu teilen statt zu horten, Bildung zu ermöglichen statt vorenthalten, Wasser zu sichern statt zu verschwenden und damit Hoffnung zu schenken, wo sie dringend gebraucht wird.
Ein Fokus ist der Austausch mit Bischof Luc Olivier Razafitsimialona aus der Diözese Tôlagnaro. Er berichtet aus erster Hand wie Wasserknappheit, ungleicher Ressourcenzugang und fehlende Bildungschancen den Alltag seiner Region prägen und mit welchem Mut und welcher Glaubenskraft die Menschen dort dennoch für ihre Zukunft einstehen. Darüber hinaus verdeutlicht er, wie die Kirche die Menschen unterstützt und ihre Hoffnung stärkt.
